never again

The room reeked of dampness and a strong smell of mold . The black mold growth on the walls took away from the enjoyment of this place!!!! I felt it in my lungs for two days, a terrible experience!!! Black mold is dangerous to your health, causing allergies, respiratory problems, and even damage to the nervous system.

Magnificent place!

Incredible place..
The hotel is perfect... The room is super beautiful and the team is very attentive with a shuttle to come and pick you up. In short, an excellent place to tour Matera

Nice hotel with friendly staff.

We stayed at the hotel with our family of 4. We were picked up by the hotel at a parking outside of the Sassi area. The hotel staff is very nice and friendly. Our suitcases were brought to the room and we were explained about all the main sights. Our room was amazing with a mezzanine and grotto feel. Unfortunately the bathroom was in need of maintenance, but otherwise it was a great stay!

Amazing hotel in Matera

We absolutely loved this hotel. It is peaceful in a lovely location. The rooms are so funky, spacious, clean and very warm. The breakfast was amazing and all the staff was extremely friendly. It was also very practical for us to use the free pick up service from a bus stop in the new town. Thank you very much for everything!
