Where to feel at home in Palermo

I spent a really nice stay at Beat Community in Palermo. The atmosphere is very welcoming and I particularly enjoyed Thursdays, when a common dinner was organized: a great opportunity to meet new people and be together. Marco, the house manager, was always available with advice and suggestions, and often proposed group activities that made the experience even more enjoyable. The house is well organized and, despite being in the center, is located in a quiet and peaceful area. Highly recommended!

A unique coliving oasis in vibrant Palermo

A great surprise: After 2 years I returned to my favourite coliving Beetcommunity in Palermo and there is a second location: A villa with a fertile garden with lemon, orange, avocado and palm trees, a unique oasis not far from the sea and the old town.
It is the perfect place for working under palm trees, developing your new project in a hammock, barbecuing with friends and your first mandarin harvest.
Marco Traina is great in bringing people together. He loves to organise potlucks and excursions. It is the place to be if you like to live and work in an atmosphere of beauty, joy and creativity and want to become part of the "beetfamily".
I will definitely come back.

Came for work and stayed for new friends

I got in touch with Beetcommunity for the co-working space. The office area has everything you need - a desk, monitors, fast internet, air conditioning and a kitchen. During the day, I learned about the many activities that take place here (e.g. potluck dinners and excursions to sight-seeing areas or beaches) and decided to join one or the other. All the people I have me there where open and very friendly. I enjoyed my stay in Palermo much more than I had expected thanks to the lovely people of Beetcommunity.

Cleanliness to be improved

I stayed one night in the venue in front of the botanical garden. The apartment was dirty (kitchen, dishes, shower, floors, outdoor area, as well as missing toilet paper and tea towels), and I preferred to leave the house the morning after my arrival warning immediately of my intentions.
The live house is decidedly different from how it appears in the photos on social media, which show an enchanted place: unfortunately in reality the common areas are very neglected.
The reviews I read, all great, maybe reflect the different standards of care and cleanliness of users (it is a place designed for digital nomads and the environment is definitely international). I do not recommend to those looking for a place, even Spartan, but that it is at least clean and cared for; it is good for those who do not care about cleanliness.
Communication with the owner was up to a certain point good, as I had timely responses, apologies and the will to solve the problem (in agreement with him, I still decided to change accommodation for my greater tranquility).
Alas I had to change my mind because, as if the bad experience of the stay were not enough, I was charged for the night, which I found in very bad taste, given the condition of the apartment and the discomfort had.
Too bad because it is from these details that you can see correctness, elegance and above all professionalism.

The best stay for digital nomads/solo travellers

I had an incredible time at Beet Community! The atmosphere was so welcoming, and Marco and the team made everyone feel part of the community. I loved the trips, events, and community dinners—they were a fantastic way to meet locals and fellow travelers. The private room was comfortable, the coworking space and garden were perfect for work and socializing, and the location couldn’t be better. Truly a memorable experience!
