Best Place to Stay in Rome for Price & Location!
We visited Rome in October of 2025 and we had been to Rome before ,and also had been to the Vatican however we had not been on a tour through the Vatican Museums, so we were anxious to take a private tour through the museums
Rhome Hosting is the best location for Vatican Tours as it is right across from the Vatican walks , ( you could not ask for a more favorable location in Rome.)
The Prices are extremely inexpensive for the offerings . I would recommend this as an excellent place for anyone wanting to explore Rome.
You could not have a better host than Nicolo.
He can tell where the nearest bank is where the a nearby restaurant is for the best pasta or haw to get to the airport.he is extremely friendly and helpful.. Should be going to Rome I would stay at Rome Hosting.

A bed near the Vatican
First off, Nicolò the proprietor is a 10/10. Very attentive, responsive and helpful with suggestions for anything you may need. Great restaurant recs. However the lodging does not live up to the host. This is not a hotel obviously but I would not even call it a B&B as it is just a few rooms in a large apartment building. The rooms are nothing like the pictures, at least ours were not. We did not have a sitting area, just the uncomfortable metal chair in the window so you really could only use the room to sleep. There is no decor on the walls. The room is pretty dated. One of our lights did not work so the hallway was quite dark. The walls were so thin that we could hear every word of the TV program one of the neighbors was watching. There is only a closet which is practically unusable in the format it is made in. The bathroom is very dated and could use a thorough deep cleaning (scale around shower, etc), the sink faucet felt like it would fall off any time you used it, the towels are thin and rough, the only toiletries (soap for the shower) were those in those little packets (not very environmentally friendly), there was a tiny garbage can for the whole room that was impossible to open, the lighting was awful if you wanted to apply makeup and there is no mirror in the bedroom to utilize. There is a coffee maker but nothing if you need sugar milk etc for your coffee.
On the plus side, you are very close to the Vatican and not too far from other attractions and there are lots of places to eat within walking distance. And from a price standpoint it is very reasonable. However I cannot say I would recommend it on that basis alone.

Holiday and concert
I chose this property because it gave it as a great location from Vatican City, and what can I say, it was practically a stone's throw away!!!!!
It is an area that has a bit of everything nearby, super convenient to the metro , shops , bars , bakeries , in short, nothing is missing.
Quiet area and at night you sleep well.
The room is comfortable , clean , fragrant , spacious enough , and with all the comforts that a stay must give .
The kindness and availability for anything Nicolò, was really a valuable help to try typical Roman trattorias,
rooms to taste excellent wines,
and bars where you can have great breakfasts.
Nicolò is a great host!!!
If you are looking for a B&B where you have everything at hand, RHOME HOSTING really makes a difference ..
It was great the COLPLAY concert so I went looking for this place, but it was just as great the stay here , and going back will be ‘really a pleasure ...

Excellent base for touring Rome
Nicolò was a great host who couldn't have been more helpful both before and during our visit. He texted regularly to check that we were OK and to see if we needed any assistance during our trip. This kind of service is hard to find and very much appreciated.
We stayed in room 3 where the accommodation was a spotlessly clean, comfortable base for our 4-day trip. It has all the necessary requirements with a warm, comfortable bed, powerful hot shower, tea & coffee making facilities and fridge. The location is excellent for touring the many sites throughout the city, and for us, it was particularly great for our early morning Vatican tour - it took us 5 minutes to walk to the meeting point. I would definitely recommend this accommodation if you're thinking of visiting Rome and particularly suitable for couple.

Fall in love in first sight!!!!
Host Nicolò went all the way to accomodate us throughout our stay in Rome.
We were a bit complicated, flying in from 2 countries at different Times, but 2 days before arriving Nicolò contacted me on WhatsApp to discus it all. Never was there a problem, he very generously accomodated everything and made it all work!
Next to that he helped in restaurant reservations, ordered taxis back to the airport, and helped with all our questions. Super easy to have someone in Rome to help with little things on WhatsApp, answered mostly in 10 minutes
The room itself was great for a city trip. Very clean, good coffee present (not some cheap home brand), very nice shower with good water pressure and massage settings if you want it.
All in all Rhome hosting made our stay in Rome even better.
I would highly recommend booking here!
