I have spent a very nice week in a single room from 20- 25 January 2018

Very nice rooms, low-price but very chic, tidy & clean All facilities are available. Heating system is great.The Manager is extremely friendly & likable. Breakfast is delicious. She offers help with the best place to visit in the town and where to go for shopping ...etc.

Nice room, friendly owner but.....

We have booked 2 nights at the B&B La Perla to visit Sassari and its surroundings.
Whilst the rooms are nice, tidy, clean and decorated with love the infrastructure is not as per the description on the webpage:
1. The owner highlights the breakfast which though consists only of packed unhealthy sweets/snacks. Whilst we do understand the measures to contain COVID we believe this should be made clear in the reservation as personally I dont see a value added to pay for that breakfast. One could also prepare the breakfast and serve it in the rooms (other B&B have done so) or offer pick up collection in kitchen.
2. On the webpage free parking is mentioned. Whats not mentioned though is that the free parking is the regular public free parking area which is always pretty full and its hard for you to get a parking. Maybe this is different in other months but during summer time worth mentioning and for us it meant an additional cost as we had to go to the paid parking lot.
3. The B&B is located in a regular house flat and consists of 3 rooms and a kitchen. The acoustic isn't great as you hear everyone coming in and out and if you have bad luck and you're located in the room behind the kitchen you can't sleep. This is obviously just a personal observation but generally a private flat's acoustic is just not laid out to offer hotel servicing.
We'd have loved to give a better rating as the rooms really are very clean and nicely furnished and the owner is very helpful but we feel the infrastructure is oversold in the description and therefore not accurately describing the current offerings.

Excellent Accommodation

B&B La Perla is by far the best B&B in Sassari. Location is excellent, very clean and extremely comfortable. In addition to the nice Italian breakfast with delicious homemade cakes. The owners are awesome, Laura and her Mother are very kind and generous hosts. They do everything possible to make your stay unforgettable. I would definitely stay there whenever I visit Sassari again. It is really great value for money. Thanks a lot sweet Laura :-)

Il b&b a Sassari

Un bb a Sassari da prendere in considerazione, bellissimo e pulitissimo. Finestre, mobili, tv, sala colazione è tutto nuovissimo e curato. Letti grandissimi e comodissimi, si respira aria di pulito. Bagno privato e accessoriato come a casa. Posizione centrale in Viale Italia e ampio parcheggio sotto la palazzina. Soggiorno piacevole.

Accoglienza, disponibilità e confort

Sono stato più volte al b&b (un paio di giorni a settimane) e sono stato sempre benissimo. Il b&b si trova in una posizione strategica vicino al policlinico e ad alcuni dipartimenti dell'Ateneo di Sassari (come Agraria, Medicina, Scienze Biomediche...). Dista dalla stazione ferroviaria e dal capolinea dei bus in via Padre Zirano (dove si possono trovare i vari collegamenti come quello per l'aeroporto di Alghero) circa dieci minuti a piedi.
Le sorelle che lo gestiscono sono sempre accoglienti e disponibili ad ogni richiesta.
Le camera sono confortevoli, nuove, climatizzate, spaziose e luminose. Il bagno all'interno della camera è pulito e confortevole.
Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo.
L'esperienza di soggiorno, in generale, è eccellente!
