It felt more like a business ryokan hotel and I don’t mean it in a bad way. The onsens were very very beautiful, and I absolutely loved my stay in Kunisakisou. At night, there are hot mists surrounding the ryokan and town, which made me understand why Beppu was called the town/onsen of hell. I asked for breakfast at the last minute and it was the best meal I had throughout my whole trip in Beppu. Thank you for the lovely stay!
P.S. Restaurants around the hotel close early so go to dinner around 5-6pm. Later than that, it will not be open. There’s two convenience stores within 10 minutes distance however I’m not sure if they were 24/7.

Amazing place

This place has a soul. The staff are really friendly and tried their very best to help me out with my inquiries. Bath is excellent- not crowded. Breakfast is amazing and very pleasant stay- wish I could stay longer.

Nice employees were nice, but ... smell

The reviews went well, so I went forward with a lot of expectations
but i went bathhouse something smell it's like a pee pee
It was so unpleasant. It felt like washing with sweat.
The staff was so kind that the facility smelled bad.

Очень приятный отель - классический японский рёкан, гостеприимные хозяева, несколько видов замечательных онсенов. Чудесный вид из окна на парящий пейзаж, море и горы.
