Kai is home to U-Topia. Yamagata Shrine and Funagata Shrine are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Hottarakashi Onsen Hot Spring and Kaminoyu Onsen. 温泉は抜群なんやが・・
このホテル（旅館）の魅力は何と言ってもお風呂。日帰り入浴施設（いわゆる「健康ランド」）になっとって、一般的な健康ランドは水道水を加熱したお湯に温泉の成分を含んだ石なんかを入れとるだけやが、ここは自噴温泉を加水、加熱なしでかけ流ししとるから、飲水もできるという、本物の温泉で、泉質は若さを維持するための「ラジウム泉」。一泊１万円以上の温泉地のホテルでもこういうスタイルの所は少ない。
しかし、ホテル（宿泊所）としての魅力はまるでない。昭和の時代のままの感覚で、洗面所は湯も出ない。そのくせ、全館禁煙にしやがった。

三が日の宿泊だったせいかおせち料理も振舞って頂いて、お心遣いに感謝致します。
建物は老朽化していますがお湯は満足いくものでした。
