Great classic hotel , Great staff

The architecture in and outside this property is stunning , the rooms are fine the breakfast excellent as is the location .Cannot fault the staff . WOULD HAVE BEEN EVEN BETTER IF THE BAR WAS OPEN ON RETURN FROM A DAYS SIGHTSEEING.

Amazing find - Grand Hotel

I stayed here with a friend for 3 nights and it is excellent value for money. Friendly staff, easy to find hotel just out of the Old Town but about 10 minutes walk to everything. The room was clean and was very spacious! The hotel itself was so grand, with a spiraling old staircase and lovely high painted ceilings.
Breakfast was included in our price and it was everything you'd need to set you up for the day.
I've already recommended and will be visiting again!

Wedding anniversary stay.

Had booked this hotel last year via Travel Republic and was not let down by reviews that we had saw.
It was centrally located and easy walking distance to the tourist attractions, such as Monument Square, Old Riga Town, etc as well as shops restaurants and parks.
We stayed for 4 nights very large and spacious room and lovely warm under heated flooring in bathroom.( nice feel for sore feet).
Breakfast had a wide range to choose from, including bacon, egg and sausage as well as fruits and cereal.
Staff were friendly with both check in and check out speedily dealt with.
Our room overlooked the court yard, but other rooms overlook the main street and park opposite.
We will be staying here again on our next visit to Riga.

O.K.Hotel

My wife and I stayed in the Europa Royale in January for three days.The room was large and warm,and the heated floor in the bathroom was nice.The breakfast was plentiful,but only average in it's selection.While we were there the Restaurant and Bar were not open,probably due to the off season time.The Hotel itself has a slightly worn old fashioned feel to it,not necessarily a bad thing.It is only a ten minute walk to the old town area,and there are plenty of restaurants around the area.

Average hotel in Riga

I stayed here for 2 nights during a business visit. the hotel seems to have been converted from an old mansion/palace. hence rooms are very spacious. best part is the bathroom floor is heated. the furniture seems a bit dated though. the hotel has a resto/bar and the food is okay, so is the breakfast. overall value for money as the room rate is very reasonable.
