Excellent location and atmosphere in the old part of the town

The hotel consists of several buildings in a complex near St. Peter's Basilica in the old part of the city. The room was large, clean, and tidy, and there is no noise inside the complex. Breakfast is in the pub within the complex and was excellent. The location is excellent, right in the city center, and yet only a few minutes walk to the bus stop that goes to the airport. The only drawback of the location is that it is inconvenient to push a suitcase on wheels, because the road is paved with cobblestones, but everything else is excellent and for every recommendation. Simply brilliant.

They don't honor what they promise
I paid for two nights at Konventa Seta, but our flight was delayed and we only arrived in the early hours of the last night. I asked the front desk for a late check-out, explaining the situation, and she granted us 4 PM. We went to sleep counting on it.
The next morning, the manager simply revoked it — coldly, without caring that we had rearranged our whole itinerary around that agreement. The hotel didn't honor its own decision. Unprofessional and disrespectful.
On top of that: cobblestone streets that break suitcase wheels, no car access (long walk), and no elevator (we were on the second floor with high stairs).
I don't recommend it. Charming location, but the lack of commitment to guests ruins the stay.

Regarding the late check-out, there was a misunderstanding. At the time of the request, it was explained that the late check-out would be confirmed the following morning, subject to availability. We understand your disappointment, but this was due to availability constraints rather than a disregard for an agreement.
Konventa Seta is located in the heart of Riga’s historic Old Town, where cobblestone streets, traffic restrictions and historic architecture are part of the unique character of the area. And the hotel can be accessed by car.
As the hotel occupies several historic buildings, an elevator is available only in the main building, while the other buildings do not have elevators due to their protected historic architecture.

A hidden gem! Absolutely loved our stay here, we upgraded to a superior double room and it was beautiful. Spotless clean, everything we could need. A very peaceful nights sleep as well. Breakfast was delicious, everything very walkable. Would highly recommend!

Love Riga

It was 3rd time at this hotel. Right in heart of beautiful Riga. Everything was excellent! Most definitely we book this hotel again.
