I booked this HOTEL via booking.com from July 31st to 2nd.
Then, on the night of July 30th, the day before we stayed, the hotel suddenly told us, "There was a leak and we couldn't let them stay. As a countermeasure, the first option is to stay in a central hotel of a partner hotel. The first night can be in a private room, the second in a dormitory room. Alternatively, the second plan can be cancelled for free. Which one would you like to go with? Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions."
It is a non-refundable period even if you cancel because it is the day before, and I cannot stay in the dormitory because I was planning to stay with my 4-year-old daughter. And yet, he offered me a dormitory room at the Central Hotel, so I replied immediately.
I sent it five times, but even at noon on the day of my stay, I didn't hear back from the hotel, so my husband called the hotel.
But the woman who answered the phone said: 'I don't have your reservation. I didn't send that kind of email either." It's too bad.
So I called the booking.com side to explain the situation and ask them to arrange another hotel.
Lighthousehotel doesn't have an apology, it's urgent, but they didn't respond to my emails, and they probably meant not to take responsibility.
During this period, I searched to see if I could book this hotel as a new one, but it was available. I don't know what that means.
Can we accept new reservations without letting us stay?
Or will new guests be sent to the central hotel? Lighthouse hotel is a suspicious property, so you should be careful!
I think there are many other victims.
