4-star Radisson Hotel Old Town Riga is located in the heart of the Old Town, with most of the Old Town sights located in an area up to 500 metres from the hotel. The hotel building is eclectic and stylish, and there is free WiFi.

Nice hotel but the breakfast i would have skipped and just bought at a nearby cafe. Was just okay- at best :)

Below expectation
So, to start with a good.. Hotel, placed in the wonderful building, is on the excellent location at the edge of the old city, close to parks and many bars and restaurants. Beautiful views of the park from the room. All the staff I've interacted with were friendly, professional and helpful.
The rest was, honestly, disappointing and well below Radisson standards for a 4 star hotel. No standard amenities in the room (like dental, shaving and vanity kit). No bathrobes and slippers in standard room. Carpets throughout the halls and in the room are old, worn out and with many stains. There is no hotel bar as such - cafeteria that is in the scope of the hotel close down at 19:00 and has very limited offer and limited indoor / outdoor seating. And breakfast was a special case of sad story. For 12 euros, all you get is poor choice of food. I've seen far better breakfasts in budget hotels.
All together, there is A LOT to improve to bring the hotel to 4 stars Radisson standard.

Could be so much better
The hotel is well situated in an attractive building. However it is badly in need of a refurbishment. Bedrooms are dated, carpets worn, and bathrooms cramped. Breakfast is a sad affair, with limited choice and quality, and just one member of staff on hand. It feels like management regards breakfast as an unfortunate chore to be gone through rather than a chance for Radisson to impress.

Great Place
Great rooms. View of the park across the street. Staff is always pleasant and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
