1st visit to Latvia

Lovely hotel with fabulous rooms, balcony, air conditioning. Modern rooms with super king size bed, fridge and seperate small room with sleeping couch. Spacious, balcony furniture, simply ask for a kettle and Happy days.
The beach is just across the road and through the pine trees to a national treasure.

Simple and affordable

Good: price/quality ratio. Location is close to the forest and sea but further from shops and restaurants. Friendly staff and quick service. Simple but comfortable room. Good breakfast.
Not so good: we stayed here in the end of June, but it looked like the tourist season hadn't started yet - the restaurant was closed and the playground was under construction.

Tasteless food

I don't recomend this restaurant. The chef is awful and the food for the price is really bad. Though I have to say the waitress were really helpful and the beer was great.Avoid this place at any cost and choose other place if possible.

Terrible service and incompetent chef

We had a family dinner there and we were expecting a high level service and good food for the prices (chicken fillet with side dish ~ 18€). The result was a long waiting time (we were the only table at that time), many items in menu unavailable, suboptimal service from the waiter and low quality, primitive dishes from the chef. Avoid this place at all cost, anything else is better in Saulkrasti. Will be surprised if the restoran will work in the next season.

Avoid this place terrible service and experience.

Terrible service and overall experience. The price for the quality of food is extremely high. They literally ruined my grandfathers 90th birthday, since the food they served was impossible to eat. They never apologized and never remedy their extremely bad service. I suggest everyone to avoid this expensive restaurant & hotel.
