I stayed a few days with friends from abroad in this nice riad in the medina of Fez. The welcome is very warm. The original picturesque and clean rooms. Breakfast 100% Moroccan. And above all a breathtaking view of the magnificent and incomparable medina de fez .I will return with pleasure.

Dar Nineta was a bad experience

The only good thing was in the medina.
The riad is very poor, it was dirty. Toilets have an unpleasant smell. The upper floor was cooked.
When it rained water would enter in our room making wet and everything was sloppy.

money exhortation by a mean owner

The room ( no. 1) is very small, dark, no outside window, extremely hot as not even a fan is available and cannot be locked easily from outside as it is in a poor shape . But, these are not the subject of complaints.
I had a very unhappy experience during my 3 nights stay there. The owner lady was very mean and used all sorts of excuses to get me to pay extras. She even demanded me to pay cash for my third night immediately to her otherwise she would not let me stay. I had already paid Xxx.com when making the booking so I said if I paid her again that would be double payment. She said that was my problem. She did not even give me receipt for my cash payment. I told Xxx.com about it and they finally made her to refund the money to me. She said she was very unhappy that I had contacted Xxx.com to make her refund me. She punished me for not giving me hot water and she said I had to pay extra for hot water because hot water is not included in the room cost. I had to take a shower without hot water that night. She also required me to write good comments on her visitor book but I declined to do so. She had made some very impolite remarks on me.
I am a very frequent traveller and have met some good some not so good guess house or hotel owners but this guess house owner is simply awful.

Chaleureuse acceuil à la marocaine !

Très bien, c'est propre calme et la gérante Nadia très acceuillante et disponible.
Le logement est situé au cœur de la médina, calme le soir et très sécurisé.
Nous nous sommes baladé le soir sans soucis.
Nadia nous a mis en relation avec des intermediaires pour organiser nos excursions. C'etait parfait les chauffeurs parlait français ou anglais, une bonne communication et étaient pontuels et répondaient à nos besoins.
