Amazing host !

I visited Marrakech old town and stayed in the riad as a solo traveller and had the most amazing experience. The host was so kind and attentive and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time and felt safe. The room was lovely and authentic and was kept immaculate throughout my stay. The riad is in a great location with the souks right outside of the door. I recommend any travellers to stay there if you want an enriching experience in Marrakech!

Misleading images and lying owner

What happens in this place is an outrageous deception that no one should tolerate. We booked a room that promised air conditioning, wardrobe and private bathroom based on photos that are an absolute lie. Upon arrival we find a PLASTIC AND REEDS structure instead of real walls, without windows, with a flexo on a table as light and with a gap open to the outside that left us totally unprotected.
The lack of hygiene is disgusting and dangerous: the bathroom was covered with biological dirt from previous customers. The shower was dirty, proving that nothing was cleaned there. In addition, the toilet had a water leak, so the ground was wet.
Faced with this horror, the manager MYRIAM could not solve and did not take responsibility. He also promised us full reimbursement if we left Riyadh in the morning.
​However, MYRIAM HAS MISLED US. To this day he still doesn’t contact us, ignores all our calls and has disappeared to not return our money. We have had to flee this site because of the unsanitary conditions, the discomfort of the "room" and the lack of security. It's a visual scam and disrespect.
Attached are the pictures of the real nightmare so they don't fool anyone else. RIYADH BKAN IS A FRAUD.

Can do better.

The location is ideal in the medina.
The welcome is friendly
The rooms and bedding are fine despite the lack of lighting.
Now, the negatives:
WiFi very random!!
The condition of the terrace furniture!! Too bad because the place could be very nice. (See pictures)
Breakfast very correct but a big effort of presentation is essential for strawberry jam (plastic ketchup jar), fresh fruit juice....(plastic bottle) See photos. I think but I'm not sure that in the medina you can find very pretty containers for cheap!!
Finally we are smokers , we were very surprised to be able to smoke everywhere except in the rooms, it must certainly inconvenience the other guests.

More than a Riad...a feeling like home in Marrakesh!

The Riad in itself was lovely. A comfortable bed, a peaceful atmosphere, an amazing breakfast, very clean and well located within the Medina craziness!!
What we will remember will be our host Ahmed. He made our stay feel so special and he took care of us like family. His kindness and constant smile were truly refreshing. Thank you for this lovely experience. Helene and Greg
