Absolutely Stunning
We had a wonderful experience at IZZA in Marrakech. Located in a hotel right in the heart of the medina, the setting is absolutely stunning, with beautiful riads, multiple pools, and even a charming little shop.
The staff were exceptional from start to finish from the reception to the bartender, everyone was friendly, polite, and very professional. A special mention goes to our waiter Yassine, who deserves all the credit. He was attentive, kind, and truly made our evening even more enjoyable.
The food was delicious: original, refined, and luxurious, with great presentation. They also offer a wide and impressive drinks menu.
We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Marrakech

Absolute gem
This hotel is a gem. One of us is a person who likes to walk around a new city and explore -- the other is a person who wants to lounge around in the hotel and sip some cold drink. We both ended up getting what we wanted. Our "stay at the hotel" person got to sip cold drinks in the rooftop restaurant and to lounge around in beautiful hidden corners and courtyards of the building. Meanwhile, our "explore the city" person was able to walk around and have adventures before coming back for air-conditioning, comfortable seating, and beautiful surroundings. We both enjoyed our time in the hotel immensely, and we were disappointed we'd booked only a couple of nights. We may come back to Marrakech for a longer stay, and if so, we're definitely staying here again. Lots of great dishes in the restaurant that we didn't have time to sample, lots of places where we wanted to sit and rest and appreciate the beautify. Staying here was like staying in a museum.

The Chicken-Schnitzel served with the very long house made frites were wonderful. The crab salad was delicious.

The Art Hotel in Marrakech is undoubtedly a beautiful and atmospheric place that places great value on design and artistic ambiance. Nevertheless, I felt that the focus on art sometimes comes at the expense of comfort and practical amenities.
In the room itself, basic items that one would expect in this category are missing: There is no regular trash can, only a very small one in the bathroom next to the toilet. A shaving mirror is completely missing, and one should not have to ask for a toilet brush in a hotel of this price range. The room door with the old lock appears charming and nostalgic, but it neither closes soundproof nor does it reliably keep mosquitoes and other pests away due to the large gaps. The iron sliding bolt is adventurous the first time, but after a day, one wishes it were oiled.
The bar in the pleasantly cool courtyard on the ground floor is unfortunately only rarely staffed. Upon request, drinks are brought down from the rooftop bar – a pattern that is evident throughout the hotel: The staff is friendly and eager, but one has to ask for everything, whether it is towels for the pool or being able to order as the only guests at the rooftop bar.
Lastly, one of the two pools was taken out of service in favor of an artistic installation: The filter pump was turned off, and the water surface was covered with flower petals. For a day, it is nice to look at, but in the long run, the pool is indeed missed.
**Conclusion:**
A beautiful hotel with a lot of charm and artistic ambition, but noticeable shortcomings in service and practical amenities. I had already stayed in cheaper hotels in Marrakech with better service and without these limitations. Certainly interesting for art lovers – however, those expecting comfort and smooth service should keep these points in mind.

Spa experience
Had an excellent body work deep tissue massage with Tahira. After such a long journey from Los Angeles, I was feeling achy and sore all over. She knew exactly how to shift my body’s energy and I feel lighter with the jet lag. Her pressure is strong so not for the faint of heart but felt super relaxed at the end. Thank you!
