Peace and tranquility in Marrakech
Selman Hotel is an absolutely stunning place to stay in Marrakech. The decor is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the choice of swimming pools and beautiful grounds, makes it easy to fully relax. In addition to the iconic long pool seen in so many photos, there are also quieter, more secluded swimming pools behind the spa where you can really unwind. Sabo the hotel's French restaurant was a real highlight, with delicious food served in an elegant setting...the table setting was just stunning. Everything feels refined at the hotel and it's all luxurious but somehow manages to remain unstuffy and relaxed. There were some lovely touches, like live gentle Moroccan music at breakfast and delicious snacks and drinks in the lobby in the afternoon. I also had the chance to try some of the hotel's equestrian activities. Equi-wellness, a form of yoga on horseback involving breathing exercises and specific postures, was great fun and unlike anything I've experienced anywhere else. It made the stay even more memorable.

The hotel itself is an architectural masterpiece. Every space has been designed with remarkable elegance, blending Moroccan heritage with timeless sophistication. It feels more like a museum than a hotel, where every detail has been carefully curated.
And then there is the stud farm... The magnificent Arabian horses are truly breathtaking and give the property a unique soul. Watching them in such a peaceful and refined setting is an unforgettable experience. It's a true haven of tranquility where luxury, nature, and equestrian excellence come together in perfect harmony.

The hotel smells very bad!!

As soon as we walked into the hotel, the owner was there with her Italian friend, both smoking in the lobby!!!!! Smoking in the lobby in a five star hotel?????
We sat down to wait for the keys, Both of them looked at me, criticized me and all Stay that we were there for five days, they were criticising me every single day! Her Italian friend At the dinner when I was with my husband She sit next to us smoking that all the smoke was coming towards me then the waiter came to me and poured the juice I ordered on me. This was on purpose.
We had a driver from the hotel who I think was gay and he kept looking at my husband and asking him for money. I have never seen such cheap treatment anywhere. Cheap!!!

Amazing
Hello to the entire team,
I wanted to express my gratitude to the entire exceptional team at Salman. It was a friend who recommended that I go through Mr. BOU Anass for my reservation, and he took care of everything, from the welcome to the table service. Everything was perfect; we experienced a magical moment at La Terrasse by Jean-François Piège, where the dishes were delicious. As an appetizer, we enjoyed a carpaccio and a calamari carbonara, followed by a salmon club sandwich and a chicken paillard. Some restaurants in Paris and Geneva should really take inspiration from this.
We then had the chance to visit the stable and discover beautiful purebred Arabians, including Lyne, an adorable mare. We took some great photos and enjoyed a pleasant walk in this enchanting estate. To conclude, we had an enriching exchange with Hasna and Aboubakar, who showed us around the restaurant Le Sabo. It was a magical place, out of time, where I felt like I was traveling back to the 1920s. Aboubakar is a true enthusiast and has a wealth of fascinating anecdotes.
Thank you once again immensely. I was able to disconnect and recharge in an exceptional setting. See you very soon, Sophie.
