202511 - Hostel in the Medina of Tangier

This hotel is located in the Medina and although it has narrow and steep stairs, we were very well received by the staff who took care of the place. The room we stayed in was spacious, divided into two environments, and the bed was excellent. The air conditioning did not work very well, but the blankets were enough to ensure comfort. The breakfast was very good, served by Fatima, a real sympathy.

Lodging in April2025

It is located in the Petit Soco, it is difficult to find the door as it is not marked.
The exit to find the taxis is 7 minutes walk from the Dar.
We have to climb many stairs, but the place is pleasant, the rooms comfortable in size and the breakfast abundant.

Nicely Appointed

Nicely appointed small riad in mid-Medina. Not easy to locate, but once you find worth it. Warning: not recommended if you have large suitcase, small winding stairs, no one to assist w/ bags. I was on third floor, not a big bag, but still hard to manage.the rooms are large suites! Great brkfast!

We were in DAR TINJAA the 2th Mai the service was NOT GOOD at all .WE were 4 people .the room was smelly and there was no communication with the laidy inside because she speaks only arabic .i don't recommend it for people who have Big suit cases because it's far from the parking.NO luggage service IS provided from the riad .WE had to carry heavy luggage for more than 30 min up hill.

Best solution to stay in the heart of Tangier

The location is extraordinary, inside one of the alleys of the medina of Tangier. The staff were very kind and welcomed us very well. The breakfast served in the morning was excellent, sweet and savory. The room, a quadruple, is very nice, the beds very comfortable. For a stay in Tangier, in my opinion it is the best solution.
