Home away from home in La Paz

We had a fantastic time at the Mantarraya Outpost! The owner, Luisa Fernanda, made us feel like we were at home. Each day started with a delicious and filling breakfast with coffee or tea, often alongside other guests or Luisa Fernanda. The rooms are very clean, with a beautiful desert / minimalist design aesthetic. The entire atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing, cute, and beautiful.
The towels, linens, bed, etc are very comfortable and the shower pressure and heat were perfect for us to decompress after days spent scuba diving. The location is just blocks from the main malecón, but on a quiet street and close to a range of great restaurants. Definitely take Luisa Fernanda’s advice on which restaurants to go to — she has great taste!
Also, she has two cute old dogs that made the stay even more wonderful. One of our favorite hotels we’ve been to, I’d highly recommend!

Great family vacation!

Great location. Quiet, peaceful, and comfortable rooms. Our family of four stayed in a double room, and it was cozy but a great family experience. We enjoyed the small pool, garden area, rooftop patio, and every breakfast was great! (Coffee was ready early, and they accommodated my GF preferences without me having to ask.) An easy walk to great restaurants, town square, and Malecon. The host set up wonderful excursions and had great recommendations for our unplanned days. Five stars and hope to return!

Wonderful place to stay in la Paz. Close to everything but a quiet retreat. Louisa Fernanda is a great host, whose b and b has excellent design, comfortable rooms, very nice breakfast. She is helpful with suggestions for tours and places to eat. We enjoyed meeting interesting people at breakfast too.

Entire place was very clean, quiet, comfortable. Louisa and her staff were friendly and welcoming. Louisa was an excellent host, quickly responded to all of our needs. The location is perfect for walking to the Malcone and far enough away that it is quiet.we will definitely stay here again.
