Truly a 5 star experience. I was blown away by how clean and modern the property was. The staff was very friendly and efficient and they provide FREE purified water, which is like handing out free gold in a lot of Mexico. Wish I had time to stay more nights, it was genuinely better than my twice-the-price resort in Cancún

DAYS OF REST

The location of the hotel really is very good, a few steps from the Monument to the Fatherland, and a block from the famous Paseo Montejo and about 10 minutes by car from the Main Square of the city.
The hotel is a very basic place, the room is small and only has what you need, if your plan is just to spend the night in the hotel this could be a good option for the proximity to the attractions of the City.

Highly recommended - great price and value ratio

Very nice hotel! A fraction of the price we paid at other hotels (that claim to be high end, but are really not, since they skipped maintenance for the last few years). The room was the decently sized. The lovely thing is that everything at this hotel and our room was well maintained, so it looked modern, clean and just nice overall. The bed was very comfortable, the bedding was crispy and had that lovely new feel. The bathroom was very clean too, it was nice to have a shower enclosure that didn't leak water all over the floor. A nice touch was the AC that was installed at the angle above the bathroom door, so it didn't blow cold air straight towards the bed. The location was convenient too, at the end of the main avenue, short walk to walmart if you need anything last minute.
Anyway, we loved our stay here! If we are in Merida next time, this is the hotel we'll be staying at! I took the pictures of the room with the curtains closed to avoid the sun glare, it's actually a very bright room.
