Cutest Hostel Ever!

It was by pure coincidence that I found Ikali and it made my stay in Monterrey an absolute pleasure! Lucia and co were incredibly welcoming, kind, friendly, and have created a lovely little hostel which feels more like staying at a friends place than at a hostel.
I couldn't recommend this place highly enough

Do not respect reservations!!!!

I arrived and although I had made a reservation they told me the hostel was full and that they couldn't find my reservation. I had called multiple times day of before arriving to confirm the reservation but their phone was disconnected. Horrible service, I ended up having to look for another place after arriving.

Loud, Unsafe, Weird, Expensive - Just avoid.

I stayed here two nights and honestly can not figure out how any of these nice reviews were written. This was hands down the worst hostel I stayed at in a year in Latin America - sure the beds are comfortable with power sockets but don't expect to spell. First night there was a party right outside the dorm with loud music, yelling etc until 5am and karaoke. I kid you not - hostel staff were pretty much not existent for my entire stay except I'm pretty sure they were the ones drinking that night. No one by the door so even though there is security if the door doesn't close (or the password doesn't change) anyone can come and go - and then on the second night someone was going through all the things in the dorm brazenly whole people slept. A Japanese guy had something stolen. The person just would walk through the dorms and I actually woke up to him looking in through my curtains with his hands inside my bed!!!!! He then came back 2 different times being aided and watching me through the curtains. He was not a guest .... but no one was around to stop him. Also this night radio played all night outside at high blast so might as well have been in room (thin walls) but I wasn't sleeping anyway after all this.
Very unsafe hostel - I honestly wouldn't even call it a hostel as they seem to get be running a space for themselves and leave whenever. Weird and horrible - you won't sleep here, so just stay somewhere else. Oh and the showers were dirty, never had toilet paper and were *cold* at all times. But really - thats the least of your worries.

Horrible servicio y lugar

Hice una reservación por telefono con 10 días de anticipación y cuando llegué me dijeron que estaba lleno el hostal porque un grupo acaba de llegar y que no tenían una reservación en mi nombre. Luego busqué en Google Maps y por los comentarios me parece que es bastante normal que hacen eso. NO HAGAN UNA RESERVACION con este hostel. Aparte la Sra Claudia estuvo muy grotesca conmigo y me intentó hacerme sentir culpable por su error. Horrible servicio.

Ho prenotato una stanza matrimoniale con bagno, quando sono arrivato mi hanno offerto un buco senza finestra, senza bagno

Classifica truffa online, ti presentano delle foto di una stanza luminosa, piacevole e quando arrivi ti mostrano un buco senza, finestre, senza bagno. La risposta? È stato uno sbaglio di configurazione . Sono dovuto andare a cercare un altro hotel sotto la pioggia. Pessima esperienza
