Room was nice and in a very quaint and peaceful environment. Short ride to town or beach. Can be walkable at 1.5 miles each way

Horror hotel

Where to start... Our trip through Mexico started in a beautiful hotel in Cancún and we were immediately in the holiday mood. Unfortunately, that feeling was completely negated within one day by our experience at this hotel.
Upon arrival, the attitude of the staff member at the reception was immediately noticeable. He sat mainly uninterested watching football in his loft behind the counter and seemed to pay no attention to his guests at all. That unfortunately proved indicative of the rest of our stay.
The hotel was visibly poorly maintained and not clean. Our room was dirty, with cobwebs by the window, an unsanitary bathroom floor and dirty towels. The general areas were also not in order. The kitchen was deserted, the outdoor space was not maintained and all the tables and chairs were full of leaves and bird droppings. In the kitchen there was even a coffee maker with mouldy coffee in it on the day of arrival, a day later it was cleaned for the new coffee (no way we want to drink coffee here)—something you simply don’t expect in a hotel.
In addition, it was indicated that breakfast was available between 07.30 and 11.30. When we arrived at 8 am, however, no one was present and there was no sign that breakfast would be provided.
For us, this was the last straw. We immediately contacted our travel company after one night, who thankfully showed understanding and immediately transferred us to another hotel.
We travel a lot and understand that not everything has to be perfect, but the condition of this hotel and the service were far below par. The pictures speak for themselves as far as we are concerned.
Our advice: stay away if you want to have a relaxing and carefree holiday.

Staff was helpful even with a language barrier. Need an offline translator for English. Wifi was terrible where we stayed on third level. Rooms were basic but very clean. The location was great.

Lowkey Vibe Boutique Hotel

Great boutique hotel. It gives chill, low key vibes. Nothing that’s too much but is such a great find! The staff was super helpful. I booked the massage and yoga instructor to come to the hotel during my stay and it was amazing!
