Realy nice overnight stay

A great place to take an overnight break, located at the the centre of a small town, Foxton. Marama, the manager was friendly and helpful, she tried to explain the details of Foxton’s town centre for us, which was good. The room was spacious, clean and nice ensuite bathroom , a small flat TV, a mini fridge and nice double bed, and very quiet at night. Location is perfect in front of the Dutch Museum, De Molen, as well as the restaurant, Dutch Oven. The adjacent building is a public swimming pool.

Marama made me feel like I was being welcomed onto a Marae.

Good room, location central to all the quaint, shops, duel local history Maori and Dutch. great location to go for a walk enjoyed the quiet, big wide open spaces.
it was nice to see Local horses riding through town with no traffic,
really central to bigger cities, the locals very friendly.

Awesome place

Was looking forward to a funky not run the mill hotel types! This place exceeded the expectations, staff was amazing, room was perfect for what was needed, loved the character of the hotel and nothing was ever a problem. The views on either side the hotel were breath taking - to say the least.
Would return in a heart beat.

The manager is Jolly

It is very accessible place-located in the main street and very near at the bus stop, and just infront of the windmill-landmark of Foxton.
Marama, the manager has alot of sharing and she's fantastic and very jolly.

Clean and tidy

Post office hotel is in the main street of Foxton opposite the Windmill.
The manager was lovely and gave us lots of advice. She also let us use the facilities in a room.next door such as the microwave.
Our room was a decent size and had a large modern ensuite. The only negative was the small shower.
The bed was pretty soft and comfy.
The hallway light stayed in all night and shone brightly under the door so that was a bit of a negative as it interrupted our sleep.
There is no restaurant or cafe in this hotel but there is a cafe across the road and a takeaways 4 doors to your right.
Overall I would recommend this hotel if you were staying in Foxton.
