Nice hostel in the centre of Rotorua - It is within walking distance to many of the main attractions such as Sulphur Point and Kuirau Park.
Staff were friendly and the facilities (especially the kitchen) were clean.
The hostel also had a pool table and table tennis table. Unfortunately, these weren't available in an evening because the reception area was closed and locked after a certain time (6pm I believe).
Parking was plentiful on the street outside and this was free after 12 on a Saturday and all day on Sunday. It is also free after 5pm most days I believe.
I would stay here again for cheap, convenient accommodation in Rotorua.

Great Hostel

Hostel has a very strange layout - slope up to the reception then a coded door, more corridors, card fob needed for the next 2 doors etc. However the man on reception was very friendly and welcoming - knew lots of information about the local attractions. Our double room was cozy, with an aircon/heating unit adjusted in room with a remote. Bed was comfy and had coffee/tea facilities. Bathroom was along the corridor and came complete with hair dryer, straightener and 3 in 1 shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower.
Didn’t use the rock climbing wall but the lounge and kitchen area were great and had a seating area with tv.

The location is great, close to everything. We had an ensuite room, which was nice and clean. The staff was courteous and helpful, and it was a pleasant surprise to have a rock-climbing facility, even though we didn't use it.

Great vibe and nice place

Okay room for a hostel with really helpful staff and cheap rock climbing downstairs. Shared kitchen, toilets and showers were all very good. Close by to a lot of activities.
Only issue was the room was way too hot and that made it hard to sleep in.

I was only here for a night. Price was reasonable. The area seemed nice and I’ve seen places to eat and drink. The place was clean, and kept up. The staff was nice. If I ever make it back to Rotorua I will stay here again.
