Atmospheric bed and breakfast

What a good welcome in this beautiful bed and breakfast. A nice base for walks in the area and centrally located in Den Bosch so that you can go into the cozy center in the evening. The next morning a nice breakfast and off again.

What an unsafe business

The owner found it necessary to just come into the room every hour which we have experienced as very unpleasant and even intimidating

Wat een ongelooflijke onzin. De gasten hadden alle luiken wijd open laten staan, toen ze in de stad uit eten waren gegaan. Alle lichten brandden volop - onnodig - en buiten stonden voorbijgangers met hun handen om hun ogen naar binnen te kijken. Dat vonden en vinden wij geen prettig idee en besloten, na meermaals geklopt te hebben en ons ervan verzekerd te hebben dat er niemand binnen was, de lichten uit te doen en de luiken te sluiten, zoals een goed gastheer betaamt: vriendelijkheid, behulpzaamheid en zorg.
Wij doen immer ons uiterste best het gasten uitermate naar de zin te maken. Ook voor u hebben wij ons uiterste best gedaan en hebben wij ervoor willen zorgen dat u een lastig klusje uit handen werd genomen door de luiken, die niet gemakkelijk te sluiten zijn, voor u dicht te hebben gemaakt. Het spijt ons dat u onze zorg zo geheel anders geïnterpreteerd hebt. Buitengewoon spijtig. Ons rest ons dan ook niets anders, dan u een volgende maal meer succes te wensen, op een ander adres.

Unseen Experience

Cuba Casa
Unprecedented experience gained.
A shameful experience.
When I check other Reviews on it I can only conclude that we had brutal bad luck.
Josh must have had about the worst start of his career.
We stayed there with our 2 children in the family room. The night of New Year's Eve. So no complaining about noisy room because we take that at such a time but what a disappointment when we wake up on New Year’s Day.
The host had overslept so we got our breakfast later than planned. Dirty plates, not even chocolate or fruit juice and old dehydrated sandwiches. He said he couldn't get anything fresh because the bakery or shops were closed.
Then I tried to appease us with what he did have but since the day before.
When I told him we couldn't eat that and we certainly weren't going to pay, he agreed. I wouldn't want it either, he stammered. Very friendly but very unreliable if you ask me.
Property itself is in urgent need of a refurbishment.
Toilet does not flush properly, lighting is flawed.... Doesn't look clean.
Very decent beds and top location.
Unfortunately, we cannot be satisfied.

EXTORNIATE EXTRA CHARGES AFTER BOOKING

I booked this hotel through Booking.com only to receive a message stating that they charge 15 EUROS TO STORE YOUR LUGGAGE, before or after check out whch is always complimentary. If this was bad enough, they also charge you 15 EUROS PER HOUR, if you ARRIVE/BOOK in after 6.30pm!
I have stayed all over the world and I have never had to pay such fees. I have already paid for the room from 3pm, apart from unsocial hours, one should be able to arrive when it's convenient to the customer! This is not good customer service.
Following on from cancelling the booking, I mentioned to Josh that I travel to the Netherland a lot as my daughter lives there and Josh wrote "I suggest you make a cheap reservation at one of your former adresses, if they still want to have you".....WOW, all I can say is, how rude, and I wouldn't have expected anything less from this crook!!

Holiday stay

Had a lovely welcome from Josh the owner. He was very informative of the local area. He helped us carry the luggage to our fabulous room. It was very bohemian. Silks and cushions. A great balcony. A wonderful bathroom. We absolutely loved it. Also a small fridge. Very clean. Was so nice sitting on the balcony among the flowers having a glass of wine on the evenings. We would recommend and would stay again if we're in the area
