Read everything!!
CAUTION: this hotel has an advantage that may go unnoticed. It is just 300 meters from the Plaza de Armas, the main square of Cusco, which makes it an ideal spot to rest and, at the same time, walk to the main attractions without getting exhausted or being too far from everything. Also, something very practical: you can arrive directly by car to the door, because it is on a drivable street. In Cusco this is not a minor detail, since many hotels are located on pedestrian streets or sidewalks where vehicles cannot access.
ATTENTION AND HOSPITALITY. I especially highlight the warmth and genuine listening of Miguel, Héctor, and Anamaria, who were attentive to our needs with a kindness that felt genuine and not simply formal. We arrived early and, although it was not yet time for check-in, we were able to leave our bags in their care and start enjoying Cusco without worries. In addition, during our stay we celebrated a birthday and they had several gestures, gifts, and surprises that made the celebration even more special. And something that seems small, but for a traveler is worth a lot: at the time of leaving we were able to leave our bags again for several hours, which allowed us to take advantage of the last day with total peace of mind. I also want to especially mention the waiter at the bar—the bald gentleman—whose service was always friendly and approachable.
THE HOUSE. The hotel also has a charm of its own that is hard to find in a chain: it operates inside an old colonial Cusco house, where the arches, courtyards, furniture, and architectural details preserve much of that historical character. Walking through its spaces makes the experience of staying in Cusco inseparable from the experience of getting to know the city: the hotel's architecture is also part of the trip.
Ultimately, beyond the facilities, I am left with something that for me defines a good hotel experience: feeling that on the other side there are people who are truly concerned that your stay is a good one. And in that regard, the Wyndham Costa del Sol Cusco team made a difference.

Very nice property and one of the best breakfast buffets on my trip! It's in a very convenient location too. I had a very simple room but it was clean and the bed was very comfy.

Decent but little gluten-free and rooms leave a lot to be desired
Very good service, also from Richard. In the restaurant and bar, they are very attentive. The only thing is that the room and the bathroom were very small and without views. At breakfast on the last day they didn't have gluten-free bread and in general there were very bad gluten-free options. When I asked for bottled water because of a stomach ache, they looked at me a bit strangely. Despite this, it is a decent hotel.
