Good hotel for a city break

The hotel has a good location, we could stay any place in Prague in max. 20-30 minutes by tram. Parking costs 8 euros per day.
The staff is very friendly and everyone can speak English, some even German.
The breakfast buffet is simple but good.
The rooms are well maintained and very clean. The only thing missing is soap and shampoo in the shower. You have to bring these with you

Decent sized room
Said it had a mini bar when I asked reception the guy pointed to the vending machine in the lobby and told me that was it.
Safe didn’t work to start off with and we didn’t have a fridge in our room but every other one did.
The windows are huge and open up to the point where you can climb in and out which was evidently so by the footprint on the verge outside of the window leading into the room.
Room service didn’t come round every day so had to deal with dirty towels for a few days.
Breakfast is ideal if you want a basic breakfast.
5 minute walk from the tram line that leads into the centre of Prague. Has a Lidl ten minutes away and shops and restaurants 5 minutes away.
Decent for the price but could have offered that little bit more.

Unfriendly staff and they make guests pay twice for prepaid rooms

We wanted to host our wedding guests in the one hotel and we have chosen the hotel Alexis. We have prepaid all our rooms in advance. However it occured that the manager didn't want to check in one of our guests and made her to pay twice the confirmed price. After that they have found out that the room was prepaid and they promised to return money. However, money were not returned.
Also some of our guest told us that manager was rude to them and unfriendly.
So I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

A very good hotel to stay in Prague if you are looking for cheap prices and nice quality!

Everything was as expected. The photos did not lie at all. The hotel was vey clean as same as the rooms and the bathrooms. The beds were super confortable! The staff was super super nice. I asked Jan for a small thingy: write "Happy Bday" on a piece of paper - because it was my boyfriend´s bday- and he did it. When we arrived, it was on the wall. Thank you very much!

It's okay

It is very basic. It takes 20 mins by tram to get to the city centre
The room is small, clean and suitable for the night sleep only. It is not noisy
The breakfast was alright
Overalll it is value for money
