This hotel was in an excellent central location in the Old Town in a very charming old building. The building was clean with breakfast and WiFi included. However, travellers should be aware that there is no elevator, which means carrying luggage all the way up the stairs to whatever assigned room (we were on the top floor!). The hotel is not air conditioned but they did provide a fan, which would have been adequate except during a heat wave!

Location (right in the middle of the old town) is great but everything else not so good. Room was tired and in need of renovation and only had tiny skylight windows so was dark, air con unit didn’t work properly. Breakfast was poor and breakfast room not really big enough for the number of guests. About 90 steps up to the room but I possibly should have guessed that because I was aware that it was an attic suite when I booked.

Recommend

Please read the review by Lauren R. I agree with EVERYTHING she wrote. We stayed 6 nights and for us, first time in Prague, it was perfect location. Beautiful walking around town and 20 minute walk in any direction takes you to a new area.

Please, do NOT come here.
Most of the rooms are at another building.
The small stairs there are a nightmare, very narrow, old, and unreliable.
It is almost impossible to get upstairs (let alone downstairs) with a suitcase.
The hotel was in a great location and the price was okay.
The staff is a real mess; they are absolutely unwilling to help the guests for even a minute.
They sit on chairs at the reception all day.
The staff’s behavior was unprofessional.
We spoke to several people who had trouble getting upstairs or downstairs with a suitcase.
The beds are uncomfortable,

Nice place in the middle of everything. Walking distance to most places. Simple breakfast but it did the job. Nice large rooms but the glas walls to the toilet was kind of strange. 😂
