Small botique hotel

Ideal location for the major sites in Trebic and easy to drive to the local area sites. New wonderful owners who are very accommodating. Still have breakfast in am but during our visit the bar/restaurant was not open. It will be soon. I have stayed here since 1994 and so it feels like home to me. Some great places to eat on square but be sure to turn into the side entry ways to find them. Great beer/pub grub at far end of square, tucked away in the corner building. Good hamburgers even!

Good Hotel close to city center

The Hotel Solaster is a fair hotel in the City Center of Trebic. The Hotel was ok. The owners were very friendly. Unfortunately the restaurant of the Hotel was not open any more. Don´t expect too much. But the room was clean and what else do you need.
The pricing was ok. But I was in Hotels that offer more for EUR 40,-/night (single occupancy)

Cosy, homely atmosphere

Located very close to the centre of Trebic with walking distance to all attractions. Homely atmnosphere in the restaurant as well. Owners are experienced hoteliers.
Highly recommended place to spend a few nights while in the region. Very good area for cycling.

Wonderful owners

This is a lovely small hotel near the centre and the UNESCO-listed attractions. It is not a luxury hotel, but the owners are so friendly and helpful that it deserves five stars. We communicated in English, but they even made the effort to use some Spanish! Food was also excellent, and breakfast was more than enough. It is served but the owner came several times to ask if we needed something else. We strongly recommend it, we felt so very welcome, we would return any time only for the hotel!

Pleasant place to stay

We stayed at Hotel Solestar (formerly Hotel Winkler) on a weekend in the dead of winter. It felt pretty closed up at this time, with the restaurant only open for two hours in the evening, and of course during breakfast service. The rooms were comfortable and the decor reminded me a bit of staying at your aunt's or grandma's, which I felt was charming... very homey. Very clean, comfortable beds, and excellent location- very close to the main square and the bridge to see the Jewish Quarter. The hotel manager was kind and even let us stay in a slightly nicer room for the same price as a twin bed room, perhaps because it was the slow season.
There is free WiFi (which worked poorly in our first floor room, perhaps it works better downstairs) but be careful- you need to ask for a code for one hour, and would need an additional code for more online time, which is provided free at the front desk. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would probably stay here again... preferably during a more lively time of year.
