Very reliable and value for price
My second stay. Again a very good experience. They run a good B&B. Good rooms. Good staff. Good starting point if you want do hike or even gorilla’s. Staff will sort you out on tickets, transport, basically anything. Very reliable. Good people.

I felt at home
Isaac and his wife Jojo are so welcoming and helpful! They arranged dinner and a delicious lunch box for me, and even a delivery on a very rainy evening! They helped me run some errands in the city and arranged activities too. The room is very clean and comfortable, with a nice hot shower. I felt at home!

DISRESPECTFUL
Isaac is the absolute WORST and did not allow me to leave the property until he got for more money from me.As a result I had to call the authorities for assistance! I wish i could give this place negative. This business should not be on this website and shouldn’t be allowed to be advertised.He wrongfully took my money and did not allow me to leave until I paid him the amount he wanted. Summary- my hot water didn’t last longer than 5 minutes. He said wait an hour and it should be fine.I did that and still it didn’t last longer than 5 minutes. He got upset and started yelling at me saying that it was something I was doing and asked how long does the hot water last in my home.I stayed calm and was confused why he was yelling at a customer. To prove to him that I wasn’t doing anything I told him to come back in another hour so he can see for himself.He did and found that I was right so I checked him.He said I already took a shower so it should be fine, my shower shouldn’t last longer than 5 minutes and I shouldn’t need hot water- running the shower messes with his electricity.After all was said and done he said I could stay the night for free because I was not allowing him to take advantage of me.I was originally supposed to stay 2 nights but couldn’t bare staying there another night.He told me that I wouldn’t find any review complaining about the hot water and I found many.The next morning when I went to leave he was blocking the gate and didn’t allow the guard to open it for me until I paid him the amount he wanted.As a result I had to call the authorities and they told him I was right. It should never have gone this far. I was in room 4 the double superior room.He said this was a new room but it’s not.Im a solo natural born woman traveler and it’s obvious he thought he could get over on me. I DO NOT RESPECT YOU AND NEVER WILL! Due to your conniving ways you will never be prosperous.The breakfast and tea-I gave it to 2 homeless girls on the street :)

Let Isaac plan your Rwanda trip
We originally booked a few nights at this location and then contacted the owner to ask a few questions. It wasn't long before we struck up a relationship and he helped us plan our entire Rwanda trip. Isaac picked us up from the airport in Kigali, dropped us off at a nice BnB in Kigali, and after a good nights rest and a wonderful breakfast, our Rwanda adventure started. He drove us to Akagera for a few days safari including a nighttime safari which was absolutely amazing. Then we spent a couple nights at the Volcano View BnB and he took us to see the Gorilla's on the Volcano and the Golden Monkey's. He knew it was my husbands birthday and he surprised us with a birthday cake and everyone (including other guests) celebrating with us. He took us to a few other interesting locations and we enjoyed a relaxing boat ride and a final meal before returning to our original lodge in Kigali. Finally, he drove us back to the airport to send us off on our next part of our adventure. The Volcano View BnB is nice, comfortable, clean, and the meals they server are great. They have a nice porch where you can eat outside if you like, or you can eat inside. They also have a TV, but who has time for that on a safari vacation :). When we return to Rwanda, we will let Isaac plan the next trip and we will stay with him at this location again. Every moment of this trip was amazing and memorable. As a guide, Isaac has so much knowledge and is featured in Rwanda with Eastern Congo, 7th edition.

Absolutely wonderful
Deserves more than five stars. Isaac, the owner is an excellent tour guide. He arranged everything for us, lodging, all of our transportation needs, including airport pick up and drop off, Gorilla and Golden monkey track, Kigali city tour, and the genocide museum, etc. He did it all. He was punctual, professional, courteous, kind and and very informative. I will be back to travel and stay with Isaac. The property is beautiful and clean. The courtyard is a serene place of flowers and beauty.
