Turismo por bucarest
Bucarest... Volvimos a Rumanía después de hace unos años estuvimos en club napoica. Decidimos conocer bucarest..
Seguridad bien..aunque no hay de descuidarse con los bolsos . Mucho q recorrer y donde comer bien.. Con precios como en España y sitios callejeros más baratos..

Take the bad reviews with a pinch of salt, It's an adequate place to stay for a couple of nights
The reviews for this hotel on tripadvisor and elsewhere are unreasonable. I found it to be an adequate place for a couple of nights. It's superbly located, and a good price. The check in instructions were easy to follow and I thought the photos were a fair reflection of the accommodation. It's a little rough around the edges but fine for a budget traveller. Those who've left scathing reviews have likely booked because it's cheap and then complained because they didn't get a luxury hotel. I stayed in the single en-suite room which was fine

Terrible experience, locked up all evening and all night without being able to go out, without eating or drinking!!!
I am deeply disappointed and saddened by this terrible experience at this facility.
When we arrived I had to call the manager who did not respond to my messages on WhatsApp. I attach the screenshots of the conversation.
The day before yesterday, I had politely asked him to let my friend in around 3pm who was already in Bucharest just to have him leave his suitcase until he would pick me up at the airport around 9pm, he read it and didn't respond.
This is an act of rudeness.
We encountered the biggest inconvenience when, upon arriving at the facility, the door code didn't work
So he had a lady come and open the door for us.
Then he told us that there was a problem, obviously we couldn't go out for the whole evening and we were hungry and couldn't eat anything.
Then he advised us to put a stone to keep the door open, but this is pure fantasy, first of all where were we supposed to get this stone? Then it wouldn't have been safe to leave the door open.
In any case we couldn't go out for the whole evening and we couldn't eat anything.
Then once we entered the guest house, he gave me the wrong code for another apartment and when I opened the door I immediately realized that it was already occupied because there were clothes on the bed and I heard voices coming from the balcony .
What an embarrassing situation!!!
Then when he told me the WiFi password he told me on the phone and I didn't have a chance to write it down and my friend also needed it so he kindly sent him a text asking for the access key but he never responded, I attach also this screen.
Then there was no hot water in the bathroom so I couldn't wash myself.

Abandon all hope.
Communication to get in totally failed. Main door doesn't work. So they put a stone to keep it open. They gave us the code for another room (with Girls). Wanna get robbed or worse? This is the place!
For the rest my dearest Italian friend who booked asked if I already could put my bags in the afternoon..no answer. My question for the WiFi code? No answer. Many other things. No answer. No warm showering. A dangerous bed when you weigh more than 75. A boiler with a noise of a Boeing only even when flushing the toilet. Rectification; the guy messaged the WiFi code in the morning when we left after saying we reconsidered the second nigth and changed for a better place.
A B&B should be about a warm welcome. Here the idea of the welcome is a Coffee and a food thrinks machine. Which I carefully not tried.
The best thing in this B&B was the way out. Running.

Apart from the location, there is not a single positive
1. Breakfast - every day we only had one mini muffin, some coffee and tea. We ask for only 1 boiled egg.
2. Cleanliness - zero, there was a full ashtray from previous guests on the balcony. There was no soap or anything in the bathroom. The toilet had no toilet bowl.
3. There was no Wi-Fi even though it was advertised as having one.
4. No one answered our repeated calls. 5. In the morning, a woman came for 5 minutes, who did not speak English, left the "breakfast" in the common room and literally ran away.
Apart from the location, there is not a single positive. I'm sure you could find a place with the same location and price but with much better service. We were here for my daughter's birthday. I asked for a little surprise in the room and they promised me. Nothing!
Bucharest is a wonderful place, museums, beautiful parks, good restaurants and delicious food. Despite the terrible service at our accommodation, we will come again to this amazing city
