Walk in Novgorod

We're staying one night. There's no elevator. Pros: Comfortable location, clean, have dishes and all necessary and small parking for the car. The room was on the 1st floor with a separate entrance (#13), the window faced the driveway, and behind the wall was the kitchen of the Tokyo restaurant. No noise insulation at all, so it wasn't until after 12.

Hotel Sofia in July 2024

Traveled as a family in July 2024 to Veliky Novgorod for 3 days (2 nights). Long read reviews, studied hotels, stayed at Hotel Sofia. Loved the location, right in the center, the rooms are clean, nice. Conveniently, there is a kitchen in the rooms, thu cutlery, dishes, pot, pan, etc. Bed linen is clean, snow white. There's carpeting on the floor, they give out disposable slippers, only for a 6-year-old child is uncomfortable, you should have taken some soapboxes with you. The staff is nice. They gave me a lovely room on the 3rd floor.
Cons:
No elevator, but I knew it, so it's like a nuance more :)
The street under the windows is busy, very noisy at night, BUT if you close the windows and turn on the air conditioning, it sleeps quietly and well.
I didn't find a hood in the bathroom, I had to open the bathroom door to keep the humidity from accumulating.
Despite the above nuances, the pluses are much greater, would still return to the hotel once more. Trips are a pleasant experience and a credit to the hotel Thu! That's why I'm putting in five stars.

Recently renovated small hotel

A lovely clean recently renovated apartment style hotel, extremely tiny with no place to put your suitcase, no lifts so do pack light!
Thin beds with unfitted sheets so you potentially end up on the bare mattress...I did and its not pleasant, I am a slimmer woman 5'8" and found the bed very challenging to sleep in.. a taller larger person would be very challenged.
Very pleasant staff and the Hotel is close to the Kremlin which is absolutely fabulous!

Nice Boutique Hotel

Our stay did not start on the right note as we can by the overnight train from Moscow and there was not possibility of early check-in.
Though it was more than made up the fact that the hotel is very close to the Kremlin, the market and the railway station.
The rooms were beautifully done and we found it to be cozy.
All in all definitely recommended

Nice little Hotel with perfect location

+++ Modern, clean, quiet room with kitchenette, park view. Great location. Our luggage was stored safely for the rest of the day. Reception speaks some English. Good value.
---- No reception at night, no late check in possible.
