Top notch- service
We found this place through social media and stayed for one night, and we were pleasantly surprised! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, while the Presidential Rooms are absolutely huge and come with amazing private plunge pools. The location is also very convenient.
But the best part of our stay was definitely the service. The staff were incredibly attentive and genuinely did their best with the resources available. A wonderful group of young men who put in their maximum effort to make sure guests are comfortable.
The food was a little average in taste, but the breakfast was amazing and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. A big thank you to all the staff and the owner for making our stay memorable

It was even better than we expected
We found this beautiful place throug social media, and honestly it was even better than we expected
Andriyala looks exactly same like the photos, even more beautiful in real life. The surroundings are so peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a couplee. Rooms were clean and comfy, views are just amazing, and the staff were very friendly and helpful all the time.
Really happy we discovered this place for our honeymoon Would love to come again for sure.

One of the best hotel in SL we stayed presidential suite in andriyala .. it was truely unforgettable
We spend 5 days at andriyala presidentail suite ..it was truepy one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in srilanka
The presidential suite and it was extremely unforgettable and had the best days there … the room was spacious luxurious and very relaxing ..
The sunset at andriyala are honestly the best and magical .. the atmosphere is super peaceful and you can enjoy with the nature .. every coner is beautiful and well maintained , making it one of the most beautiful hotels we have visited in srilanka
The food was very delicious with so many choices .. local and international options .. every meal was very fresh and full of flavors
Also specially what made our stay more memorable was the wonderful staff … super friendly and always ready to help … the hospitality was super amazing

Throwback in time.
We had a lovely stay in the 130 year old mansion. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Great food. Pool area could use a bit of attention.

NOT RECOMMENDE
Terrible experience from start to finish.
We spent over €300 on this hotel for what was supposed to be our honeymoon night, and it turned into a complete disaster. The room had no hot water at all, and the swimming pool was ice cold, impossible to enjoy without freezing.
As soon as we arrived, the reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. We politely asked for another room, but they refused without even trying to help us. Instead of showing understanding, they acted dismissive and almost seemed amused by the situation.
They kept saying they would contact the manager, but nobody ever came back to us and no solution was offered. No refund, no compensation, nothing. We also couldn’t cancel the booking even though we had already paid cash.
For the amount of money we paid, this service is unacceptable. Save your money and book somewhere else — you can find similar hotels nearby for around $35 a night with much better customer service and conditions.
Definitely NOT recommended. Avoid this place at all costs!

At the time of the incident, you had already checked into the room and later requested a different suite because the swimming pool was not heated. We kindly note that we have never advertised or promoted any of our pools as heated pools on any booking platform or advertisement. Therefore, this was not a facility that was promised or included in the reservation.
We would also like to address the statement regarding the hot water facility in the bathroom. As hot water is an essential facility for guest comfort, our team carefully checks and confirms the proper functioning of all hot water systems before guest check-ins. We can confidently confirm that there were no issues with the hot water facilities in the room during your stay, and we did not receive any similar complaints from other guests.
Regarding your refund request, we were unfortunately unable to provide a refund on this basis, as the room and facilities provided were exactly as described at the time of booking. If there had been any mistake, misleading information, or missing advertised facility from our side, we would not hesitate to provide a refund or appropriate solution immediately. We strongly believe in honest hospitality and do not advertise false facilities or misleading information simply to attract guests.
