An excellent accommodation in Colombo

One of the best properties in Colombo, both in terms of location as well as its ambience. The interior is exquisitely designed that exudes heritage. Hospitality, customer centricity, empathy is exemplary. It was certainly a memorable experience for me. Thanks

Fabulous Boutique Villa

Such a beautiful and very well presented boutique villa, run by a well informed manager and house lady. We had the best stay here as the staff were the best and the house lady was such a beautiful person with a soul that reached into your heart. Delicious breakfast served when you request at an enormous beautiful table. So much to see here as antiques collected throughout. Dinner or lunch is not available on site but they will order in take away if required or will order transport to any dining experience you desire. We went to TGI Friday which was wonderful experience.

Rustic !

So this place is more of a homestay than a hotel. It’s not nearly as nice as pictures (but I never really expect they are )
It’s started pretty badly as I had booked a deluxe double and upon arrival was told wasn’t available! So that’s annoying seeing as it clearly stated that’s what I’d booked. They presumed that by pushing two singles together it was acceptable. It was a completely different room.The room was small dark and quite unkempt to be honest. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and a couple of dead cockroaches. The rooms weren’t cleaned daily and my bin wasn’t emptied and I had to ask for loo roll. The breakfast was nice though, fruit and omelette pretty standard for Sri Lanka
The pool looks nice but not really for swimming in. The little garden was quaint, and the staff were nice and polite and got us taxis wherever we needed to go
There’s s small supermarket round the corner which was handy and I recommend eating at ‘paradise road the Gallery cafe.’

Nice staff but very shabby

Loved the staff, they were friendly and nice. The rooms were not in the best shape, lots of water damage on the hotel, and the breakfast was late most of the time- even though it was pretty ok.
Cute but not the best standard.

dont get it!

nice place and lovely staff in an impractical location. Near nowhere but traffic jams. Better to stay in albeit more bland hotel in the forte area or Galle Road. for people passing thruough Colombo it really isnt an option
