Really feels like staying with your family

Very nice, clean room with A/C in a beautiful location - a big house with a lovely garden. The hosts are warm and open people who treated us like members of their family. Very good starting point for trips to Sigiriya, Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa - the hosts can also help you find a driver to get you there.

Great value for Pidurangala/Sigiriya, excellent hosts

We can't say enough about the hosts at Green View. We felt as though we'd been adopted by this family on our short stay there - they took such great care of us. We were met with a juice and slice of cake upon arrival, were packed a delicious breakfast for our early morning departure for Sigiriya, and we were met with even more fresh juice on our return from a morning of hiking. They were very responsive and helped us coordinate a great driver to go to Pidurangala, Sigiriya, and the Cave Temple. And, when our driver had to leave early to tend to a family situation, Sunil picked us up from the temple himself. The room is spacious for a couple with hot water, AC, and good wifi. We have been traveling for over 6 months and found this family to be one of the kindest we've met.

The BEST BREAKFAST EVER

After 2 weeks traveling in Sri Lanka and staying in home stays I can confirm this one was the best of all.
We were a family of 5 and we felt part of the family as soon as we arrived.
We had 3 bedrooms downstairs and the owners were sleeping on the first floor.
The highlight of the trip: THE BEST BREAKFAST EVER !!!
We had Sri Lankan breakfast, with a lot of variety and everything was delicious!!
