Negative

Have camped here for the first time in 2011 and then on and off until today's date. Last time was 2 years ago. But this year I was literally shocked. Completely wild hedges, overgrown lake, my wife sprained her ankle in a den in the asphalt on the walkway, mini golf course in need of renovation, absolutely not enough toilets when the campsite has plenty of guests. Yes in general, I think this is extremely sad!!! Because this campsite has extremely high potential.

Campsite with a lack of structure and respect for others.

We are on our way home after a tent trip at First Camp Råstånga, where we had booked seven nights. Unfortunately, it didn't take long before we regretted our choice.
Already upon arrival the experience was bad. We stood at the front desk for 15-20 minutes before someone helped us. The receptionist walked around talking on the phone, dragging back and forth and even sitting down in a chair as she continued the conversation. I'm sure she was trying to solve a problem, but as a guest you felt completely overlooked. Finally, a restaurant employee came over with an envelope. She did not know the camping system, just gave us the envelope, pointed towards our seat, and then we had to find out the rest ourselves.
We got a seat close to the jumping pad, the pool and the main building. Already when we arrived, the neighbors played loud music from a speaker, and the children yelled and yelled at the jumppad. It quickly turned out that many locked up seemed to have their own rules without the staff intervening. There was virtually no tranquility on the square.
The jumping pad was not closed until 22:00 every evening. Until then, one had to live with constant screaming and noise. If you have small children who need to be put in time, it is almost impossible. When the hopping pad was finally empty of air, several of the neighbors continued with loud music and party. There was no enforcement of tranquility on the square.
The campsite advertises a swimming pool and a large skate. However, the railway was closed all summer. It is not stated in the ads or at the time of booking, and we also saw no sign that work was being done to repair it. It feels honestly like misleading marketing.
The toilet conditions were also not acceptable. There was constantly a strong smell of urine, and the cleaning standard was far below what one should have expected. Our girls were even locked in one of the toilets because the lock stuck. Subsequently, other guests told us that the same toilet allegedly had the same problem for about seven years. If that is true, it is difficult to understand why it has not been corrected.
In general, the campsite appears worn and in decay. Many areas seem poorly kept, and the overall impression is that there is a lack of both investment and management.
If you love loud music from fasteners, children who are allowed to run around without supervision and make their own rules, dogs that do the day long, a constant smell of urine and evenings where it is impossible to get small children to sleep, then First Camp Råstånga may be the right place.
We will not come again and can unfortunately in no way recommend the campsite.
A family of 4.

Not again!

The benches at the playgrounds were completely rotting. In the store there was nothing to shop that you could cook yourself. The slot machines at the front desk didn't work. The waterslide is closed during the summer.

Won't come back again.

Rented a cabin that was horrible. The fridge smelled of rotten eggs, it was damp in the cottage so the clothes were not dry, the ventilation in the cottage was completely again set by old shit. One of the cabinet doors was broken and about to fall down on us. Stop in the drain in the shower. Had to use the Service houses on the campsite which were untidy, broken lights and the nozzle for the shower was broken. Didn't have a drawing for the internet. Cold in the pool so the kids could not swim for long but the kana was very appreciated. Child-friendly camping and yezzi was popular.

Pretty picture camping but expensive and not the quality you would expect to get

Very nice camping, at least where we were located, right next to the lake.
Other areas are more like a large open field with a lot of camping pitches, not very pretty.
We were visiting with a camper and booked a larger spot than the measurements of our camper, in order to place the tent of our small kids right next to it. But, unfortunately that is not allowed! Even with extra payment they do not allow that.
So we had to book another camper pitch next to our pitch (double the costs) or our kids had to move to another field 250m away from our pitch, which was not an option of course.
Showers are very dirty and ICE cold, lights got off every 2 mins even when I moved. Swimming Pool is very nice but also cold. Food in bistro is a good quality.
I would not recommend, expensive and busy camping but not the quality you would expect.
