Very pleasant

We had a couple of days at this hotel in the hills outside Chur. Beautiful setting with amazing vista from the dining room with a picturesque well maintained church next door.
The staff were exceedingly good from the jovial manager to the jack of all trades Ionanas (the lovely Greek guy who seemed to be everywhere and apologies if spelling incorrect) to the cleaners and waitresses.
Breakfast was really good - with the finest bread rolls of our touring holiday - even if the competition was weak!
Dinner is a set 4 course menu with two choices of starter, mains, set dessert or cheese to finish. It was not outstanding but very edible and a bargain 40 CHF compared to other restaurants nearby!
The only faults I could really pick out were the lack of the availability of firmer pillows and the rather bath small towels but the latter is a common problem in Switzerland we found!
Finally, beware - Switzerland is an incredibly expensive country with eating costs, well above those even in the Cotswolds, which is saying something, and petrol 20 pence a litre more than in the UK!! One restaurant near this hotel was pricing a burger at nearly £40!!!!!

Magnificent enchanting stay.

Always so welcoming, very pleasant staff, garden, pool, sauna, hammam! Everything is there to relax. A few minutes from Lake Cauma and a bit more from Lake Cresta. As a regular, I will return.

Great location, skibus directly to the lifts in the morning, nice breakfast, spa sauna pool was nice after a long day in the mountains, friendly staff, parking

Autumn days in Flims-Waldhaus

Very nice hotel. Great value for money, especially with the summer offer.

I had a very nice room with balcony. The food was also great and the staff and boss fulfilled every wish. One of the few hotels where the bed was so good that I didn't have back pain. Quite great I found besides the Biotop pool also the beautiful wellness area, where there was really enough space. Also plenty of parking. I'm sure I'll be back. Thank you all for the great 5 days!
