Clean room is a very convenient location next to main train station, tram, bus, shops and restaurants. Rooms are dated but roomy. Have stayed here many times.

Minus one star for the air-conditioning

I would’ve given this hotel five stars. It’s conveniently located right across from the train station and other tram hubs. The rooms are large, includingthe bathroom. There is shelving and cubbies all over the room to help you really get organized. Other than the trains, the room was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and I would’ve slept well except it was too hot. There is a tiny workout room in the basement. Breakfast was more than adequate. There is a lighted make up mirror and an easily accessible hairdryer.
The problem is with the air-conditioning system. It needs a modernization upgrade. You don’t have an actual thermostat in your room. It is a dial for the amount of fan. I had it on high, but you could barely feel anything blowing out. You can’t open the windows. I called the front desk and they brought up a fan. But the room was so sweltering hot I left early. When I went outside, the ambient air was so much cooler. The other really odd thing was during my checkout. I went to the front desk and the whole area was dark. I raised my voice to find out if anybody was in the back. A man came forward and he acted like he had just been asleep. The really odd thing is he didn’t turn on any of the lights. He checked me out and I asked for a copy of the bill. He didn’t turn on the lights soI I had to go near the door to read it. I stood outside early to get some air because my room was so hot, but my taxi wasn’t coming for 30 minutes. I felt uneasy because I knew no one at the front desk is watching me stand there, and I wasn’t sure if the door locked behind me. If you came to this hotel when it wasn’t hot outside and you left the hotel in daylight hours, you will probably be just fine.

Beds should be overhauled, slightly old. The Bath too. Room had a distinct flavor of cleaned after smoking. Very positiv the aircon, the breakfast and the view from the breakfast room.

Don’t stay here if you want AC

It says they have AC. Technically they have AC but it doesn’t actually do anything. Very basic hotel. Hot and uncomfortable. It is right at the train station but it’s not the nicest part of Geneva. I wish I paid a little more to stay elsewhere.

Average 2 star hotel charging 4 star prices

Great location, next to train station and many bus stops, nice staff, but that all the pros.
Cons: charging nearly 380 CHF (that’s more than 400 euro) per night, in a small single room (my estimate is no more than 21sq m), with barely enough aircon to stay cool, and an unimaginative breakfast offer. Minibar is expensive.
