Helpful staff
We’ve just check out. Hotel is really clean and rooms are comfy. Recepcionest ladies (olaksandra and marta) realy realy helpful and they know english. The only not good thing in Hotel was breakfast. That was average. You should pay for second tea or coffee which is understandable

Well enough for a short stay, great price
Basic hotel, all clean and neat though. Needed some place to leave my stuff for a couple of hours while at meeting with customer.
Breakfast was included into room price but did not stay overnight - son got nothing to stay.
Plenty of toiletries and towels.
Reliable wifi.
There is only one thing that is very important about this hotel - it is 3rd floor and no elevator. Absolutely not your place if you got a heavy suitcase.

clean, quiet, good price
Interior. It is a relatively new hotel with new furniture, but rooms are only equipped with basic things, such as comfortable beds, good bathroom, small flat TV with a good set of channels and a nice air con system. However, there is no fridge in the room, or a closet. There is also no cattle, and they won't make tea for you unless it's breakfast time, or you have your own tea bags.
Clean and quiet. You won't find dust or dirt, or things left from previous guests. You won't hear your neighbors fighting or laughing, or making love, or whatever.
Nice location. It is quite close to both railway station and city centre (around 4 tram stops) or 20 minutwes walking. There is also a pharmacy, grocery store and an ATM nearby.
Overall, Etna is a nice place for a good price, perfect for few nights. I would definitely stay there again next time I go to Lviv.

Clean, fresh, quiet
This has been my fifth visit to Etna, so I'd like to make several amendments to my initial review. Hopefully, they will be of use to fellow tourists.
In a nutshell, Etna remains one of the best deals in the city in terms of price, service and location. I've tried to summarize my experience and categorize all the pros and cons of this hotel:
PROs:
1) Etna is relatively new (constructed right before EURO 2012), so it can boast new furniture, bathroom and lavatory equipment, comfortable beds, flat TV screen and a nice air conditioning system.
2) It is clean, neat, and the service is overall good.
3) The location is not without its disadvantages, but in general it is not bad. The surroundings are very quiet, there is a tram stop in 2 minutes' walking distance, several grocery shops, pharmacy and an ATM nearby.
4) They accept credit cards, which is a bit of a breakthrough for not-so-luxurious hotels in Ukraine.
5) Even the cheapest suites are relatively soundproof (which is rarely the case with most hotels, according to my experience). That is majorly due to an extra door within the suite between the small corridor and the bedroom.
6) Good Wi-Fi and satellite TV.
7) Rather tolerable breakfasts, even though unsophisticated. But served in a very friendly manner, which is typical of Lviv. Breakfasts are served 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. which might be a little late for some travellers. But since they are anyway included into the price of stay one doesn't have anything to lose.
CONs:
1) The websites promised discounts for returning travellers (starting from the 3rd visit). This has been my fifth, and I've got nothing.
2) The website also lied about slippers - none of them are available in any rooms.
3) As I said, there are several tricky points regarding location. One has to keep in mind that the tram #7, which is the only one passing close to the hotel, goes around with the interval of 20-30 minutes and only until 11 p.m. Furthermore, some taxi drivers don't know where Etna is and have to be told the exact address. Better keep this in mind. And yes, there is an old historic cemetery nearby, but for me it was rather aplace of interest than a drawback. But again, it depends on your standpoint.
4) No fridge in the room.

Abbiamo prenotato l’hotel Etna durante il tragitto da Mykolayiv verso Budapest nel tardo pomeriggio tramite Booking.com.
La reception si trova al terzo piano le ragazze che la gestiscono sono molto gentili e parlano molto bene l’inglese. La camera pulita molto spaziosa, un mini appartamento con due tv piatte, asciugacapelli professionale e aria condizionata. La colazione è compresa ed è tipica Ucraina con crêpes salate arrotolate e verdure, muffin e bevande calde come caffè, latte e caffè e the. Il parcheggio è chiuso e custodito proprio adiacente. L’unico tasto dolente il cane da guardia che purtroppo la notte ad ogni piccolo movimento fuori abbaia per il resto ottimo hotel consigliatissimo.
